Composition of granulation production line
The production line typically consists of multiple key equipment, forming a complete closed-loop process:
Raw material pretreatment system
Including drying devices (to remove moisture from raw materials), storage bins (to store raw materials), etc., to ensure the quality of raw materials.
Plasticizing and extrusion system
The core is the extruder, which homogenizes and melts plastic raw materials through the rotation and heating of the screw. The aspect ratio and power of the extruder's screw are key parameters that directly affect the plasticizing effect and output.
Cooling and granulation system
After being extruded from the die, the molten plastic forms into strips or sheets, which are quickly cooled and solidified through methods such as water cooling or air cooling. Then, they are cut into standard granules by a granulator. Depending on the timing of granulation, it can be divided into cold granulation (such as the water-drawing process) and mold surface hot granulation system.
Auxiliary and control system
Including feeder (to control the feeding speed of raw materials), vibrating screen (to screen particles), storage bucket (to store finished products), and automated control system for monitoring and adjusting process parameters such as temperature and rotational speed.
The plastic granulation production line is characterized by high automation, low labor demand, and high production efficiency. The core of its process lies in precise temperature gradient control and parameter matching between equipment (such as the rotational speed of the main machine and the feeding speed).
Depending on the application and raw materials, there are various types of production lines, such as:
Twin-screw granulator: suitable for filling modification and masterbatch production that require good mixing effects.
Single screw granulator: commonly used for granulating general-purpose plastics such as PE, PP, and PVC.
Dedicated production line: such as dedicated granulation equipment for film materials, foam material recycling, cable materials, etc.
Its application fields are very extensive, including the production of raw materials for plastic products such as filled masterbatch, color masterbatch, cable materials, automotive parts, daily necessities, toys, and more.

Due to the characteristics of different rubber compounds, the granulation methods vary. The widely used granulation modes in the industry include: twin-screw granulation, air-cooled granulation, water-cooled granulation, spray granulation, and water-drawing granulation, which are common granulation production methods
